Irish American Heritage Month

Irish American Heritage Month banner

Sláinte! Irish American Heritage Month honors the achievements and contributions of Irish immigrants and their American descendants. This month was first established by Presidential proclamation in 1991. March was chosen in honor of St. Patrick's Day (March 17), when one of Ireland’s patron saints is celebrated across the United States.
