Graduate Study Rooms

To support the academic success of our graduate students, the Carpenter Library provides 23 dedicated Graduate Study Rooms. These rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning August 18, 2025, and are governed by the following guidelines:

Eligibility

  • Only currently enrolled Graduate Students at UNF are eligible to reserve and use these rooms.
  • A valid Osprey 1Card is required for check-out.

Reservation Process

  • Visit the Information Desk in person with your Osprey 1Card.
  • If a room is available, it may be checked out for a period of up to one week.
  • The reservation may be renewed once for an additional one-week period, pending availability.
  • Upon check-out, the student will be issued a room key and key fob.

Key Return and Fees

  • The key and key fob must be returned to the Information Desk by the end of the reservation period.
  • Failure to return the key and fob on time will result in:
    • A hold placed on the student’s library account.
    • A $40 replacement fee charged to the student’s account.

Additional Notes

  • Rooms are intended for individual study and academic work.
  • Please respect the space and maintain a quiet, clean environment.
