Made possible by an Innovative Project Award from the Northeast Florida Library Information Network (NEFLIN), this VR experience tells the story of North East Florida native, Eartha M. M. White, a prominent African American female from Jacksonville, FL.

About the Eartha M.M. White VR Experience

This VR experience tells the story of Northeast Florida native, Eartha M. M. White, a prominent African American female from Jacksonville who founded the Clara White Mission. The VR narrative biography tells the story of Ms. White's life and all of her accomplishments. It also gives a glimpse into her home and base of operations which is now the Eartha M.M. White Museum located in Jacksonville FL.

This VR experience was made possible by a 2023 Innovative Project Award from the Northeast Florida Information Network (NEFLIN).
In cooperation with the Eartha M.M. White Museum, The University of North Florida Thomas G. Carpenter Library Special Collections and University Archives, and the UNF Virtual Learning Center.

The Eartha M.M. White VR Experience is made for use on the Meta Quest VR headset and can be "sideloaded" to the Quest from SideQuest VR .  The Experience can also be viewed as a 360 VR video on on the Quest by using the YouTube VR Application and going to the LibraryVR application page.
