The eye icon makes anatomical structures visible or invisible. You can edit whole layers by using the two sliders in the upper right corner of the screen. The left slider controls skin, bone, muscle, and central nervous system while the right slider controls peripheral nerves, organs, and blood vessels.
The explore icon can also be used to isolate a specific structure from the surrounding anatomy or remove structures.
The anatomical model can be moved using touch or the orientation icon. The orientation icon will reset the model’s size, location, and angle. Use one finger on the screen to rotate the image, use two fingers to slide the image. Pinching and spreading two fingers will zoom in and out.
The rainbow icon contains several options: choosing colors to highlight a selected structure, manual removal of a selected structure, or turning a structure partially invisible.
The scalpel icon is used to dissect the body. There are presets for cutting the body vertically and horizontally. The scalpel tool will cut where a line is drawn and “undo” will reset the image back to the full body.
The film strip icon will show a variety of videos highlighting structures in a chosen area. These include bone, muscle, cardiovascular structures, and nervous system structures across the body.
