Finals Week at Tommy G's

The Carpenter Library's Student Engagement unit plans numerous fun and supportive library events and activities to help our Ospreys succeed. Whether it's a visit from friendly therapy dogs, free snacks, or arts and crafts, you can find a way to relax and get stuff done with the Thomas G. Carpenter Library.

The Carpenter Library will offer the following events and activities before and during finals week (Dec 1 to 11) to help students relieve stress and succeed:

• Stress-Less Display: Visit our interactive display on the library's first floor for stress-relieving activities, games, giveaways, and more!
• Campus Canines: Dogs from Campus Canines will visit the library to meet and greet with students and staff at these times:
  • Monday, Dec 1 from 12 to 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec 2 from 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.
• Random Acts of Snacks: Library staff and partnering departments will offer treats at random times and days to students studying in the library
  • Partnering departments include the President and Provost's Offices, Library Administration, UNF Bookstore
• Rest & Relax in the VLC: Visit the Virtual Learning Center daily to de-stress by using virtual reality
