Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling

A guide to the library resources supporting the Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling disciplines.

What kind of help is available?

Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling students can get help in many ways:

  • Request the services of a Librarian through a General Research consultation.   A research consultation gets you a one-on-one session with a librarian from the Instruction Unit of the library who might help you with your research needs and how to navigate the library resources.
  • Go to the Perdue Study Area in the Library for Tutoring.  You may find the tutoring Schedule on the Tutoring Libguide.
  • Look for pop-up library Instruction around the around the Library and on Campus. Librarians will set up tables with computers ready to help you with your library research needs.  Pop-up Library Instruction will be advertised.
  • Take  LIS 1001 Beginning Library and Information Strategies to sharpen your research and information literacy skills.
  • Use the 24-hour chat service to speak to professional librarians who can provide research assistance.
  • Call, email, or text the library for assistance.
