Banned Books Week

Banned Books Week is an annual celebration of the freedom to read. Although book censorship has occurred since the beginning of the printed word, modern-day challenges and bans of literature and other reading materials continue to this day, especially in public schools and libraries. UNF's Carpenter Library joins libraries and bookstores across America in the fight against censorship. Celebrate with us by perusing the resources below, and checking out a banned or challenged book!

This online display includes free Virtual Reality applications available for experience in the Virtual Learning Center. It will be updated as resources become available. You are invited to email suggestions or recommendations for any VR applications.
