This library guide was created for Peer Review Coordinators to train their peer review team to use the Library Guide Assessment Standards for Quality-Checked Review (LGAS) rubric when peer reviewing library guides. Upon the peer review team trainees reviewing the training modules, they will be able to:
- Identify the importance of a quality assurance process when building pedagogically sound library guides
- Describe the process for assessing a library guide using the LGAS rubric with a peer-review colleague
- Model best practices for providing written reviews to library guide authors based on professionalism and collegiality
- Use the online LGAS form to record the LGAS assessment
- Point to the process for asking for clarification or assistance during the review process
