Library Administration includes the staff of the Office of the Dean with responsibilities for overall strategic planning, program management, and marketing of the Thomas G. Carpenter Library.
Administrative staff manage the Library’s fiscal resources, provide administrative oversight for the physical facility, manage and develop content for the Library’s community awareness based marketing projects, and oversee the hiring, evaluation, and development of library faculty and staff. Dean’s office staff manage the annual assignment of graduate study carrels.
Operational management for primary library service areas is delegated to two Associate Deans, one each for Public Services and Technical Services and Library Systems. The Director of Development for Academic Affairs is responsible for the Library’s fund-raising programs and co-facilitation of the Library Dean’s Leadership Council with the Office of the Dean.
