This ENC module was created by instruction librarians as an introduction to library literacy. The purpose of the module is to lay a foundation that will prepare students for research at the university level and to acclimate them to the resources that are available at the Thomas G. Carpenter library. While some students have the opportunity to experience in-class instruction with a librarian, it is not uncommon for students to be unfamiliar with the resources and services available to them in library.
We encourage faculty to use this module as a supplemental tool, an introductory module, and/or an opportunity for extra credit. Upon completion of the module, students will receive a certificate of completion that can be printed and/or saved to their device.
This module can be completed in 1 hour.
