Rest & Relax in the VLC started in Fall 2022 featuring meditation and relaxation VR applications in the Carpenter Library catalog. One VR station during the hours of operation is reserved for students to stop in to the VLC and rest their mind form the stress of academic rigor. Fall 2023 Rest & Relaxation expands to include VLC Books & Boards, a program that includes graphic novels & board games hosted in the VLC Room 3403 during the times the Campus Canines arrive on campus. The program is designed to be a fun and engaging way for students, faculty, and staff to explore the intersection of these three media.
VLC Books and Board is a great way for students, faculty, and staff to learn about new media, meet new people, and have fun. The program is open to all skill levels, so anyone can participate.
