The Baylor Libraries' Book Arts Collection began in 2007, with the acquisition of a collection of works by artist Maddy Rosenberg. Since that time, the collection has grown to several hundred items representing a number of artists and presses.
The Jaffe Center for Book Arts is South Florida's hub for research and instruction in artists' books and book arts topics. The center revolves around the Book Arts Gallery, which houses the Jaffe Collection.
Although artists have illustrated the words of others for centuries, the book as art object is relatively recent, and the Smithsonian Libraries has a rich, diverse collection of artist-made books from the early 20th century to today.
This collection of over 800 titles is located in the Kohler Art Library at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The majority of the titles are represented in a searchable digital image database.
A set of videos for a selection of 100 artists' books from the Rosemary Furtak Artist Book Collection in the Walker Art Center Library. This project was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
