Graphic novels and traditional banned and challenged books go head to head. Submit your bracket by September 10th and then be sure to vote each week to help move your favorite book to the finals. The winner will be announced at the Banned Books Week Panel Discussion.

Banned Books Week is the national celebration of our freedom to read. Launched in 1982 to draw attention to the problem of book censorship in the United States, Banned Books Week will be held September 24 - 30, 2017. This year’s Banned Books Week will emphasize the importance of the First Amendment, which guarantees our inherent right to read.
