Giving to the Library

Benefits to Naming a Space in the UNF Library

Step into the Library and feel the passion in the academic hub of the University. Witness the diversity, drive, dedication, and focus filling the building at all hours.

More than 800,000 users come annually to access library expertise, materials, and equipment and to collaborate and exchange ideas with students, professors, and members of our community.

The University of North Florida needed a teaching, learning, and research center to serve these users both today and tomorrow. Therefore, the Library Commons was delivered in 2015 to enhance our vibrant learning community and bring to UNF the same cutting-edge, collaborative teaching technology and comfort experienced in the nation's top universities. Though the Library Commons renovation is well underway, the Library currently has outstanding needs in order to bring its original and full vision to completion.

Clustered around whiteboards, learning around laptops and collaborating around group-study tables, students still need more technology, more space, and more equipment in order to succeed in today’s academic environment. When you name a library venue, study room, or activity space, you help solve this deficit by providing the necessary tools students, faculty members, and community researchers need for success.

Furthermore, you are sharing with hundreds of thousands of visitors on an annual basis that YOU care about education, the economic strength of our region, and college completion. And, you can even honor a loved one through your gift ...

GOAL $10,000 annually

Donors can make a one-time, or multi-year commitment (pledge) to support an area of interest for the library. For example, a gift of $5,000 can be paid in one installment or at $1,000 a year for five years.
