Giving to the Library

Alumni and Friends

Alumni are the best friends any university library can have. They embody academic achievement, spirit, tradition, and pride - which are the hallmarks of a quality university. Alumni and community friends, please honor your academic library by becoming a Friend of the UNF LibraryThese discretionary funds will be allocated by the Dean to strategically accomplish library funding priorities and make the most of your donation.

You can become a Friend of the UNF Library at one of the following levels:

Osprey Nester:  $1 - $499

White Library Osprey:  $500

Blue Library Osprey:  $1,000

Silver Library Osprey:  $2,500

Gold Library Osprey:  $5,000 +

Some gifts above may be pledged over a five year period.

GOAL $5,000 annually

Donors can make a one-time, or multi-year commitment (pledge) to support an area of interest for the library. For example, a gift of $5,000 can be paid in one installment or at $1,000 a year for five years.

Alumni Benefits at UNF

Alumni also enjoy a variety of benefits and services. Library cards and memberships to the Student Wellness Complex are available at a reduced rate to alumni and their families.

UNF is proud of the reputation it has earned for providing individual attention to our students. That tradition of making the student our top priority continues after the students become UNF alumni.

Alumni Association

For a young school like the University of North Florida, building a strong, vibrant alumni base is a critical component of the University's journey to greatness. The Alumni Association, with the help of the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, plays an active role in keeping alumni aware of what's happening at their alma mater.

The Association's electronic newsletter, Nest Notes, informs alumni in all 50 states and 34 foreign countries of campus related events.
