UX Redesign Project for Library Guides and Digital Commons

The UNF Library is enhancing the functionality, accessibility, and effectiveness of the library’s online presence.  We will be gathering feedback from faculty, staff, students and the community during the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. This ties into Goal 2d. of the Library’s 2017-2024 Strategic Plan, which is to “Design and implement an intuitive, user-friendly online presence that promotes discovery and learning.”  The goals are as follows:

  • Redesign Library Guides to improve access to information, resources and services
  • Redesign Digital Commons to improve access to our institutional repository content through improved navigation and layout of the site

Implementation of both redesigned sites will occur in Summer 2020.

Library User Experience Surveys

The UNF Library is currently looking to update and enhance its web presence by making updates to its Library Guides and Digital Commons interfaces. We are seeking user input to improve these Library Services. These surveys are an initial step in gathering feedback from the UNF community. We encourage feedback from faculty, staff, students and the community, including those who have not used these systems in the past.

The surveys will be open until Friday, December 6, 2019.
