Library Liaisons serve as key contacts for collaborating with faculty in specific departments and try to learn as much as possible about programs in assigned department including courses, degrees and certificates offered; faculty research; community partnerships and outreach; accrediting organizations; professional associations; comparison of holdings with other universities; etc.  They create awareness of library materials and services available to faculty members; communicate the Library’s collection development policies and involve faculty members in collection development. Liaisons initiate appropriate requests for purchases of materials and provide feedback on behalf of academic departments to advise the Acquisitions team of specific research and curricular needs.

I have worked in education and training for over 10 years in various capacities; from assisting the regional director in a college's satellite office to  teaching high school Spanish to managing continuing education programs.  Before serving as Public Services Librarian here at UNF, I worked part time or the Jacksonville Public Library System.  Being in the Library, in the core of a vibrant campus with all of the students and faculty, is a great experience.  I like to teach and learn and help people make connections.  UNF is a wonderful place to do that.  You can catch me at the first and 2nd floor service desks, or email me anytime.
