Creating Playlists in Naxos

Personal Accounts- You can create an account on Naxos which will allow you to create personalized playlists. Once you are logged in, access the playlist section of Naxos by clicking the "playlist" tab at the top of the page in the middle. For a step by step tutorial on how to add tracks to a playlist, browse this pdf document.

Faculty Accounts- Faculty can create playlists and share the playlist links with their students. Recordings and playlists can also be imported and exported. Faculty must use the shared university account and log in using the following links in order to share playlists.

Naxos: http://www.naxosmusiclibrary.com/

Jazz: http://www.naxosmusiclibrary.com/jazz

Please contact the Instruction Team librarians (lib-instruction@unf.edu) to request the username and password to the university's shared account. With this sign-on, faculty can make a folder and create multiple playlists inside. To share a playlist, check the box that says "Display static URL to Playlist" just to the top right of the playlist list. If you click on an individual playlist, you can share individual tracks by selecting the box that says "Display static URL to track" just to the top right of the track list. Links can be embedded into Canvas similarly to how YouTube videos are embedded, but unfortunately Naxos does not support track clips. For more information on creating playlists, please visit the PDF tutorial
